What is Dragobrat?
Carpathian Freeride Playground
Forget crowded mega-resorts and manicured pistes — Dragobrat is where freeride dreams come alive. Tucked into a high-alpine bowl at 1,300–1,700 m beneath the twin peaks of Stih and Blyznytsia, our little valley catches every flake that drifts across the Ukrainian Carpathians. Natural snow starts piling up in early December (sometime in November) and often lingers well into April, laying down silky powder lines long after many European slopes have turned to slush.
Just 18 km above the village of Yasinia — an easy hop from Slovakia, Poland or Hungary — Dragobrat offers wide-open bowls, gladed gullies, catskiing, and backcountry routes. Crisp mountain air, panoramic sunrise shots, and hearty evenings with steaming banosh, wild mushroom soup, and homemade berry infusions come as standard.
Bring your fat skis, lace up your splitboard and let gravity do the talking. If freeride is your passion, Dragobrat is your playground.
